Avoid Overdeveloped Mirror Muscles

By Mathew Leo at 2011-02-25 00:29:34
Make no mistake about it, step ups will creep up on you and kick your ass. Simple, yet highly effective. This is an exercise that seems to be forgotten when it comes to other bodyweight exercises.

We do this everyday every day and don't even realize it, and if you are one of those people that can't walk steps without a rail or need to put your hand on your knee to push off, you need to stop reading this and start reading somebody Else's site.

Initially, if you exercise to use up more calories than you consume then your body will start to use your body fat as a source of carbohydrate to convert to glucose. Under aerobic conditions, with lots of breathing, the glucose will then be oxidized to pyruvate which enters a cycle known as the Kreb's cycle where ATP energy is generated in every cell in your body.

Let's step back and look at the ingredients: beans, tomatoes, onions, lean meat, peppers. Vegetables, complex carbohydrates, and lean proteins; isn't this what just about every diet guru preaches should be in your diet? I do. When someone asks me what they can eat to lose weight, this is pretty much the list.

The general consensus was between Ronnie Coleman and Johnny Jackson. And guess what, they both come from powerlifting backgrounds where deadlifts were a major staple of their back and trap training. Trust me on this. Pick out a guy at your gym that deadlifts regularly, and check out his traps. I will guarantee that they are well developed.

They are an energy source for the body and regulate most of our bodily processes. It is essential you differentiate between good and bad fats, good fats are unsaturated ones found in olive oil or flaxseed oil. Avoid all saturated fats, such as animal lard and butter, as these can clog your arteries and lead to health problems.

If you do not have a bar use the monkey bars at a park, or even a very sturdy tree branch. Many people can't do a pull up. It is a very tough exercise. In this case try to make it assisted by either having someone hold your feet/foot, or by lightly supporting your feet on a chair or stability ball. Another alternative is to hold the "top" position of the exercise for as long as you can.

The next tip is to make sure you're doing the right exercise. Crunches are a good exercise to develop your abs but they become great if you use weight when you do them. When you train your other body parts you always use weight so it's important that you also use when you train your abs. I like to keep my reps in the range of 8-13 when it comes to working my abs.

Having exercises that take less than 10 seconds to do allows you to get a full body workout and still go on with your day. Isometric exercises also save you money.
